Integrated marketing, design and advertising firm, ParkerHayden, took home four Texas Top Brass 2009 Lantern Awards and was named “Rookie of the Year” at the Business Marketing Association (BMA) — Houston Chapter annual show last Tuesday night.
I think Open Networking like going to a professional luncheon and just throwing your cards at everyone: “Here … call me if you need anything! Who gives a shit who I am, ’cause I can throw cards REALLY well.”
Facebook needs to more to make their site more secure. They have hundreds of million users now and advertisers who pay to reach them. If they don’t do more to protect their users, they could lose both. And then we won’t know who’s eating pie anymore.
Bank of American spends hundreds of millions of dollars on advertising–at least they did prior to the bailout. They had a Bank of Opportunity to create a raving fan–someone who would have sang their praises to everyone I know–but all they did was reinforce what we’ve known all along: It’s a pain in the ass to transfer my online account to another bank.
